Evolve IP Completes SOC 2 Audit and Recertification
Awarded Clean Opinion From Grant Thornton, LLP
Evolve IP™, The Cloud Services Company™ today announced that it has completed the Statement of Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (“SSAE 16”) Service Organizations Control (“SOC”) 2 Type II audit covering its cloud-based services, having been awarded with a clean opinion from the Certified Public Accounting firm Grant Thornton, LLP.
The SSAE 16 is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“AICPA”), which sets guidelines for auditors to use in order to objectively assess the internal controls of service organizations. In addition to the SOC 2, Evolve IP has also received and is making available its SOC 3 report, a summary trust services report that documents assurances on the company’s controls related to security, availability, and confidentiality principles.
