Quick Tip Video: Polycom VVX500/600 Blind Transfer

This is an Evolve IP quick tip video on how to perform a blind transfer. A blind transfer is when a call comes in and you simply transfer the call to the third party without announcing it first. To perform a blind transfer, you want to have a call come in. When the call comes in, you can either lift up your handset or hit the “answer” key.

Once the call is answered, you will see a “transfer” key appear. When you select the “transfer” key, you will want to then select the “blind” key in the upper right hand corner. Once selected, it will then ask you to type in the extension or 10 digit phone number you want to transfer the call. When you type in the number extension, you then want to select the green phone icon and that will then transfer the call to the third party. This has been an Evolve IP quick tip video on how to blind transfer a call.
