Quick Tip Video: Polycom VVX500/600 Voicemail Transfer

This is an Evolve IP quick tip video on how to perform a voicemail transfer. A voicemail transfer occurs when you receive an incoming call and would like to transfer that call straight into an employee’s voicemail box.

To perform a voicemail transfer, we first want to a call to come in. When a call comes in, either pick up your handset or select the “answer” key. Once the call has been answered, you want to then select the “transfer” soft key that will appear on your screen. You then want to enter in “star, five, five.” Once entered, please enter in the extension that you would like the call to go to, then press pound (#). Your call has now been transferred to that voicemail box.
